Kalai Prize

Dear Colleagues,

We are pleased to announce the opening of nominations for the Kalai Prize in Game Theory and Computer Science, a distinguished award presented by the Game Theory Society in Honour of Ehud Kalai. Established in 2008, the prize recognizes outstanding contributions at the interface of game theory and computer science.

About the Kalai Prize:

The Kalai Prize is awarded to the individual or group that has published the best paper in the realm of game theory and computer science. Eligible research papers must have been published in a recognized refereed journal prior to nomination, with the main results not disclosed in preliminary form in conference proceedings, on a preprint server, or in final form more than 14 years before the year of the award (2023). This extended evaluation period acknowledges the enduring impact of fundamental research.

Eligibility and Preferences:

While any research paper meeting the criteria is eligible for consideration, preference will be given to candidates who are 45 years old or younger at the time of the award. However, this is not an absolute constraint, and outstanding contributions from individuals of any age are welcome.Prize Details:

The recipient(s) of the Kalai Prize will be awarded USD 2,500, along with travel expenses of up to USD 2,500 to attend the Congress where the prize will be presented.

We invite you to submit nominations for individuals whose work has significantly advanced the connection between game theory and computer science. Nominations should include a brief statement outlining the nominee's contributions and a copy of the relevant paper.
