Amendments to Bylaws
Frank Thujisman new Secretary/Treasurer
Here is some news on the Game Theory Society.
|
Willemien Kets has stepped down from her position as Secretary/Treasurer for personal reasons. As a consequence, it became necessary to run elections to appoint a successor. In turn, running this election required us to amend the society bylaws.
In accordance with our bylaws, council members were asked to vote on the amendment to the bylaws and to the election of a new Secretary/Treasurer, for which the Steering Committee nominated Frank Thuijsman from Maastricht University.
As a result of the vote, bylaws were amended, and Frank was elected as the new Secretary/Treasurer. Essential information about Frank can be found on this nomination form. This document shows the changes in the bylaws, which are highlighted in yellow.
We thank all council members who voted on important matters for the society. We warmly welcome Frank as new Secretary/Treasurer and look forward to working with him.
