Here are the news about the Society:
|
1. We are happy to announce that the 7th World Congress of the Game Theory Society will be held August 19-23, 2024 in Peking University, Beijing, China. The program chair is Satoru Takahashi, local organisers are Ju Hu, Hao Wang, and Yiqing Xing.

2. We are running elections for the council of the society. You will soon receive information on the list of candidates, as well as an email from LimeSurvey with voting instructions.
|
3. As announced in the previous newsletter, officers have been renewed through our last summer election. The new team consists of:
President: Michihiro Kandori
Executive Vice President: Gabrielle Demange
Secretary and Treasurer: Willemien Kets
Vice President for Communications: Olivier Gossner
Past President: Matthew Jackson
We thank the previous team for their steering of the GTS, and for helping us in a smooth transition.
4. Hervé Moulin has been elected to the Advisory Board. Hervé is a charter member, a former president, a fellow, as well as a past member of the Council of the Game Theory Society. We are delighted to have him on the Advisory Board.

5. We are experiencing some issues with our technical secretariat, which means that we cannot accept payments for membership renewal at the moment. We hope that this is going be resolved soon, and we kindly ask you for your comprehension in this matter.
